Who else sees it

Our own team, and a small number of providers who host this site, deliver our email and measure how the site performs. They only ever use your information to do that job for us, under contract.

We don't sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't pass it to advertisers. Where a provider stores data outside the UK, it's covered by standard contractual safeguards.

06

Cookies

A cookie is a small file your browser keeps so a site can remember something. This site sets one of its own to remember your choice, and — only if you accept — a Google Analytics cookie to count visits.

Crowdline Group — Remembers whether you accepted analytics, so we don't ask you again on every visit. In your browser until you change it.
_ga and _ga_<id>
Google Analytics — Counts unique visitors and shows us which pages are being read. About 13 months.

Nothing you came here to do depends on the analytics cookie. You can change your mind whenever you like — the banner will reopen so you can switch it on or off again.

07

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • See a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Have anything incorrect put right.
  • Ask us to delete your information.
  • Ask us to stop using it, or use it only in a limited way.
  • Move your information elsewhere.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing or analytics at any time.

Just email info@crowdlinegroup.co.uk. If you're not happy with how we've handled something, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

08

Keeping it safe

The site runs over an encrypted connection, submissions are stored on secure infrastructure, and access is limited to the people who actually need to reply to you or run the event. We don't store your information in personal email accounts or spreadsheets that float around.

09

Changes to this policy

If how we handle information changes, we'll update this page and the date below. Nothing here is intended to limit your rights under UK data protection law.
